Merit Scholarships

The Merit Scholarship Committee designates as many as 25 merit scholars for each school year. Each family must reapply for the $500 - $6,000 scholarship each year.  

All applicants are considered for IGS’s merit scholarships, based on the following selection criteria: 

Candidate must have a record of academic excellence in the previous two years of school and be among the top 10% of IGS's applicant pool

Candidate must have maintained an A average in core classes (Math, ELA, History, Science) 

Candidate must demonstrate a history of outstanding contributions to his/her school and community through leadership and service

Decisions are made by the Principal and Admissions Committee and awardees are notified at the time of acceptance.
