WHAT IT MEANS
A Credential That Is Recognized — and Transferable
Ivy Global School earned accreditation by Cognia™, a nonprofit accrediting organization (formerly AdvancED) and the parent organization of NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI. Because IGS is accredited, the credits and diplomas we issue are recognized by other schools, universities, and organizations — not just paperwork.
In July 2021, IGS fully met all 34 Cognia Standards of Quality, and on June 23, 2021 we were officially notified that Ivy Global School is accredited by Cognia alongside NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI.
Recognition by the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission means a school meets the Cognia Standards of Quality and shows a commitment to continuous improvement. Accreditation is granted in five-year terms, with both an internal review and an external review by trained evaluators during each term.

IN THEIR WORDS
What Accreditation Means to Our Community
«School accreditation as conferred by the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission provides Ivy Global School a nationally recognized mark of quality for our school.»
«Ivy Global is a strong community that is committed to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement to provide the best to the students the school serves.»
«Cognia Accreditation is a rigorous process that focuses the entire school and its community on the primary goal of preparing lifelong learners in engaging environments where all students can flourish. Ivy Global School is to be commended for demonstrating that it has met the high standards of accreditation.»
THE PROCESS
How Accreditation Is Earned and Maintained
Cognia accreditation is not a one-time certificate. Schools are accredited on a five-year cycle, and within each cycle must complete an internal review and an external review by education experts.
Cognia is a nonprofit organization working with schools in over 80 countries, serving roughly 36,000 educational institutions, about 25 million students, and 5 million educators worldwide.
